The Top 5 Winter Date Ideas

Winter is officially here. The temperatures have dropped, the heavy-knit sweaters have made their way into weekly outfit rotations and while the cold of winter might inspire some to crawl under the covers, these ultra-chilly nights have us in the mood to do everything and anything winter-related – especially grab our sweetie and head out for a fun and festive date night! The winter months don’t have to be grey and cloudy! The most cuddle-able time of the year can be the perfect opportunity to snuggle up to your S.O. and spice up your relationship with a delightful date night. And you’re in luck! We’re sharing five fun ideas to spend time with your special someone. IceSkating

1. Go Ice Skating

There’s no better way to soak up the months preceding spring and summer than hitting the rink for ice skating, and nothing is better than skating under the twinkling lights with the one you adore. Bonus: Ice skating is the perfect opportunity to sip on some delicious hot cocoa following your date! Movie Night

2. Have a Movie Night

Before your favorite celebs thank the Academy, plan a night to catch up on the year’s best flicks with your favorite guy or gal – we recommend checking out Boyhood or St. Vincent. Both movies are crowd favorites and award show nominees. Pop some popcorn and enjoy a night cozying up on the couch! Cooking Class

3. Sign Up for a Cooking Class

Make 2015 the year that you and your babe step your game up in the kitchen. A cooking class is an excellent way to work together as a team, have fun and spend quality time together all while learning to make a delicious new dish. Looking to learn a new dish sans instructor? Peruse Pinterest for a tasty new meal you can cook together. New Restaurant

4. Check Out a New Restaurant or Bar

Many restaurants roll out brand-new menus to celebrate the New Year, which sparks the perfect opportunity to check out a spot that you’ve never dined at before. Want to hit up your go-to dining locale? No worries! Make a challenge that you and your sweetie each try a new dish or cocktail. RockClimbing

5. Get Active

Think winter means minimal opportunities to get out and get active? Think again! Invite your honey to get his or her heart rate up at an indoor rock climbing facility or simply head to the gym for a group fitness class. This date idea is a fantastic way to get your sweat on while soaking up each other’s company. Since we’ve laid out some great ideas for Q.T. with your cutie, let’s chat about the perfect date-night fashion! Guys, step up your style game by donning the Modern Series for men collection – Throw on a pull-over sweater and oxford shirt for a put-together look.
