What Tilted Rise Is and Why It Will Change Your World

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to our new Curvy Fit. We gave you some high-level design details that make this what we truly believe to be the best fit for your curves.

But one post to cover all those details just isn’t going to cut it. Especially for the tilted rise — a seemingly subtle design difference that will change your world.

(You think I’m exaggerating … but I’m not.)

First, let’s talk about what a rise is.

The rise indicates where your jeans sit on your hips/waist. If you want to get technical, we measure the distance from where the legs meet to the top of the jeans to get the rise. A lower rise will hit lower on your waist and a higher rise will hit higher on your waist. size_chart_misses_rise

OK … so what’s a tilted rise?

For the Curvy Fit, we chose to use a tilted riseThis means that the rise is lower in the front and higher in the back.Lee Jeans Curvy Fit Tilted Rise

Why would I want a tilted rise?

There are a couple of reasons this tilted rise will change your world.

First, because it will keep you confidently covered. How many times have you pulled your pants up … today? Every time you’ve sat down? Gotten up? Picked up your child? Moved? Budged?

NO MORE!

The fact is, too many women have fallen victim to the dreaded plumber’s crack. Or, if you’re like me, you’ve accepted a life that requires pulling up your pants hundreds of times per day as a precaution. (Well, I accepted it until now, anyway.)

You don’t have to sacrifice the style you want for the coverage you need.

With the tilted rise, a higher rise in the back means coverage where you need it. Finally, a fit that embraces your curves. Feel free to applause here.

Second, a tilted rise is lower in the front, which means you don’t have to sacrifice the style you want for the coverage you need. Our Curvy Fit is mid-rise in the front, which is the Goldilocks pick of rises — not too low, not too high; it’s juuuuuust right.

Oh wait, there’s more …

On its own, the tilted rise does amazing things — for your comfort, style and sanity — but we didn’t stop there.

We coupled the tilted rise with an advanced no-gap waistband. This no-gap waistband bends with you while hugging your curves, preventing the gapping and sagging you can experience in other jeans.

When a curvy woman buys jeans, we’ve found that she often has to size up to fit her curves, only to have excess fabric around her small waist. Hence, the gap dilemma. Our tilted rise + no-gap waistband = your curves’ new besties.

Embrace your curves.

The Curvy Fit loves your curves as much as you do. Go ahead and give them a try. We’re so confident you’ll love them, we’re offering free shipping!
