Office Makeovers for the New Year

Blame it on the tradition of making New Year’s resolutions lists, but around this time of year I get the itch. I want to start something new, change my look, freshen my space. Magazine articles about makeovers catch my eye. I think we’re all ready for a change, feeling reinvigorated from recharging with family and friends during the holiday season (and the resulting naps afterward).

As much as we try to balance work and play around the office, the truth is that it’s all life. We spend a lot of time here, and that made me think, it’s time to give my workspace a makeover too. Plus, getting organized is always No. 2 on my annual resolutions list. Here are three of my favorite office makeover ideas for your workspace, including a DIY denim idea of course:

Just recycle a pair of your previous jeans by cutting out a swatch and framing it — viola! Instant whiteboard. We recommend using light denim so that your black dry erase marker shows up. Look at you! You’re crafty now.
