Closet-Envy: Inspiring Closets (and Budget-Friendly Hacks!)

An organized closet is a happy closet, and a happy closet makes it simple (and even fun) for us to get dressed.

Some of us need a little nudge to get into spring cleaning mode. (Translation: We need to spend hours on Pinterest planning our dream closets.)

Consider this our nudge. We pulled some of our favorite organization inspiration from the web. Bonus: We even found some budget-friendly options inspired by these amazing closet designs to help us achieve similar concepts in our own homes. Enjoy!

This modern sitting area is ripe for deep thoughts … like which shirt to pair with your Lee 101s today.

We love this built-in jewelry cabinet. No more tangled necklaces!

Budget-friendly version: A wall-mount jewelry cabinet, like this one.

This custom pants hanger keeps all your favorite Lee jeans looking sharp.

Budget-friendly version: A unit for a semi-custom closet, like this one (only $25!) from IKEA.

OK, so nobody likes ironing. But when it’s built into your closet, at least it’s convenient!

Budget-friendly version: An over-the-door unit like this one.

Wallpaper in the closet? Brilliant! What a simple way to add an unexpected pop of color.

Budget-friendly version: You can find a diverse range of designs at Target.

Shoes, jeans, shirt … building an outfit from the ground up is logical with this sleek setup.

Adding a vanity makes the closet a complete dressing room.

Budget-friendly version: Put together your own vanity for $100 like this beauty vlogger, thesheenz.

We can’t forget the wee ones! Place decorative items on the higher shelves they can’t reach to make their closet a work of art.

Anybody have a forgotten sunroom? Transform it into a closet with some shelves.

This sliding ladder makes everything within reach … and it just looks fun to play on.

Scarves take up almost no space at all in this genius hidden compartment.

Budget-friendly version: This pull-out organizer can be used for belts or scarves and is a real space-saver.

A TV and a fireplace? In the closet? Yes, please!

Sorry. No budget-friendly version here. Maybe just hang a picture of a TV and a fireplace?

We’re all about making things simple. Having the washer and dryer in the closet just makes sense.

Clear drawers like these keep your Lee jeans organized, easily accessible and visible — perfect for outfit planning.

Budget-friendly version: Buy a freestanding dresser with glass-front drawers, like this one from IKEA.
